Linux/Windows Systems Administrator

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. – Proficient in both Linux and Windows system administration, including the installation, updating, troubleshooting, and hardening of both Linux and Windows operating systems in bare-metal and virtual settings. – Knowledgeable in LAN and WAN networking structures and virtualization technologies. – Experience establishing or modernizing networks. – Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various IT systems in an agile scrum environment. – Oversee the daily operations, monitoring, and issue resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices. – Apply patches and enhance the security of Linux RedHat OS while collaborating with security teams to defend against cyber threats.
