Platform Engineer Manager – Apps
Requirements
Must have:
– Over 5 years of experience managing enterprise-level applications, including 3-5 years specifically in Microsoft 365 administration and technical product analysis. – Demonstrated expertise in deploying Adobe Creative Cloud and enhancing productivity. – Strong understanding of enterprise M365 configuration and governance, including automation tools like Power Automate and scripting using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API. – Advanced skills in GraphAPI, PowerShell, SQL, and Power BI for: – Scripting and bulk management – Automating service operations – Analyzing data and generating backend reports – Visualizing application performance metrics – Experience implementing GenAI functionalities within Microsoft 365 (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is a significant advantage. – Familiarity with Azure AD, Conditional Access, Defender for Office 365, Intune, and associated services. – Proficient in managing applications across different platforms, including Windows, Mac (OSX), and iOS. – Comprehensive experience throughout the application development lifecycle, covering requirements design, development progress tracking, change/release management, and operational support. – Ability to identify and manage integration dependencies across M365 apps and third-party solutions. – Strong background in incident management, security compliance, and vulnerability resolution. – Proven track record in defining KPIs and reporting on performance and service reliability. – Excellent English proficiency (C2 level) demonstrated through IELTS (8.5+), TOEFL (110+), TOEIC (945+), CAMBRIDGE CPE, or equivalent. – B.S. in Computer Science/MIS or four (4) additional years of relevant experience as an equivalent substitute.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the engineering and management of productivity applications, ensuring optimal performance of tools like Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, and integrated applications. – Configure and manage enterprise application services across both legacy and cloud environments. – Direct upgrades, rollouts, patch management, and application migrations. – Perform health checks and monitor, troubleshoot, and tune application performance. – Integrate applications with both third-party platforms and internal solutions. – Support complex deployments to guarantee high service availability. – Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and administrative practices, including user documentation. – Develop governance structures around licensing, lifecycle management, and architecture. – Provide Tier 3 escalation support, resolving intricate technical challenges. – Mentor service desk teams, promoting best practices in application management and utilization. – Collaborate with network, security, and support teams for effective application service delivery. – Engage in planning, migrations, upgrades, and project execution activities. – Interact directly with vendors like Microsoft and Adobe for advanced configurations and support solutions.
