Requirements


Must have:

– A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required – Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience – Proficiency in C design paradigms on Linux, VxWorks, or other Real-Time Operating Systems – Experience in developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications in C – Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python – Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is mandatory prior to employment – U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance – Additional experience in coding with C, C#, Java, or similar programming languages is preferred – Experience working in lab settings with physical hardware like test benches or simulators is desirable – Capability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and existing code bases – Experience in product development using Scrum methodologies of the Agile software development process – Familiarity with DevSecOps pipeline implementation, including Static Code Analysis, Automated Build, and Automated Test techniques using continuous integration/delivery – Hands-on experience with Git for version control and GitLab for repository management is advantageous – Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively – Experience developing in CUDA for compute-intensive workloads on Nvidia GPUs is beneficial

Responsibilities:


  • Involve in all phases of the software development life cycle within a multi-disciplinary team – Support new and existing military and commercial programs from concept through to requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance – Provide innovative solutions to intricate technical systems and software integration challenges – Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers to create optimal solutions centering on user needs and operational requirements – Design, develop and test product features for Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radars and integrated sensor suites – Engage in the creation of precise targeting systems and situational awareness for pilots – Work onsite in McKinney, TX, with eligibility for relocation – Travel occasionally for work-related purposes as required
