Principal Software Engineer, Command & Control
Requirements
Must have:
– Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required before start date. – U.S. citizenship is mandatory as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance. – Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant software engineering experience. – Proficient in developing object-oriented software using C and Java. – Familiarity with DevSecOps methods and tools. – Knowledge of stateless/serverless software architecture. – Experience with microservice software architecture. – Skills in containerized applications and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka. – Active Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance required with the potential to obtain and sustain a TS/SCI prior to employment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for innovative satellite ground systems. – Collaborate with skilled teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
