Embedded Software Engineer – C/C++

Requirements

Must have:

– A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required – A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is necessary – Proficiency in developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications in C or similar programming languages – Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python – An active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance – Must be a U.S. citizen, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle as part of a multi-disciplinary team – Support both new and existing military and commercial programs from concept through design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance – Provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges involving system and software integration – Collaborate with Systems Engineers to develop optimal solutions that consider user and operational needs – Be prepared for occasional business-related travel
