Senior Network Engineer – Cisco, Juniper

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) related to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics – Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience – Proficient in designing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining network systems – Expertise in Juniper and Cisco network design practices – Familiarity with Linux System Administration (e.g., RHEL 6.0+) – Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance from day one – U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, implement, modernize, and support scalable Juniper network solutions – Architect and develop Juniper Network systems for performance and scalability across various computing environments – Utilize command-line interface (CLI) for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network hardware – Execute Linux command line tasks for deploying updates and modifying network systems as per program requirements – Advise on network resource allocation, utilization, and optimization strategies – Exhibit strong troubleshooting skills for network issue mitigation and prevention – Apply extensive knowledge of core routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and VLANs to address networking needs
