Senior Embedded Real-time Software Engineer
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience – Proficiency in at least two of the following: Embedded C++ Software, Embedded Software Security, Software Architecture Design and Implementation – Familiarity with embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, or Linux – Experience in developing complex systems integrating hardware, firmware, and software – Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required prior to start – Capability to obtain program access post-start
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test, and debug embedded real-time software within heterogeneous systems involving firmware and hardware – Collaborate within a cross-disciplinary team to define, enhance, and optimize product concepts, implementations, and testability – Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members – Contribute to proposals and participate in preliminary and critical design reviews – Ensure embedded software operates reliably toward its intended functions
