We are seeking candidates who possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in supporting IT infrastructure functions. An Associate’s Degree is necessary. You should have experience with Windows 10 workstations, printers, and basic networking. A solid understanding of desktop systems and off-the-shelf (OTS) applications is essential. You must demonstrate excellent hardware skills, particularly with Dell and Lenovo laptops, as well as peripheral equipment, printers, and fundamental networking to effectively resolve issues in a timely manner. Outstanding customer service abilities, the capability to troubleshoot and address Tier 1 and 2 IT-related concerns, and excellent knowledge of Windows 10, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP are required. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure support tools and technology, along with strong written and verbal communication skills, and a keen attention to detail are also important.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide desktop support, which includes assistance with hardware, software, networking, printers, scanners, and audio-visual (A/V) equipment for all internal employees. You will be responsible for onboarding and offboarding staff by deploying and recovering laptops and supporting IT peripheral equipment. You will image, configure, and deploy Windows 10 workstations, as well as troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Call Center software (Five9), and other proprietary software as needed. It will be your duty to proactively resolve production issues and to identify and document root causes, action items, and lessons learned following incidents and infrastructure events. Additionally, you will enforce company security protocols and ensure that all workstations comply with security guidelines. You will work towards meeting all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for production systems and provide assistance to the extended IT Infrastructure Team as required.
Company:
We prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Engineering. Additional certifications such as MCSA, A+, or Net+ are also highly desirable. Experience in providing support for Apple Macs and mobile devices in a corporate setting is a plus.
