Performs supervisory, technical, and complex diagnostic analysis for all HVAC, refrigeration, electronic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems. Supervises subordinate technicians in locating and diagnosing malfunctions and performing technical repairs on HVAC controls, meters, and instruments.

Develops, implements and supervises the preventive maintenance program for all HVAC refrigeration control systems. Ensures, wherever possible, that the performance of HVAC refrigeration systems remain within established parameters through a continuously v controlled and monitored operation. Recommends the installation of sensors and safety controls that will detect overheating of motors, bearings, excessive vibration, and other problems in order to prevent operation of HVAC.

Maintains complete files including technical data, vendor, and control equipment information on all HVAC and refrigeration control systems. Recommends changes to existing control systems to obtain maximum and desired results.

Works with blueprints and complex diagrams and schematics when installing control circuits, missing box controls and troubleshooting HVAC control equipment.
