About The Role The Data Entry Specialist is a vital part of ABC Legal’s team, responsible for reviewing and filing legal documents through online platforms and proprietary tools. This remote role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of legal document handling. The specialist will collaborate closely with the e-Fulfillment and e-Filing teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of legal documents, troubleshoot discrepancies, and contribute to process improvements. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in legal operations and technology, with the flexibility of working remotely within specified states. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- No prior experience necessary; data entry experience is a plus
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Typing speed of 50 to 60 words per minute
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Basic technical aptitude and comfort with online platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Located in Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, Michigan, North Carolina, or South Carolina
Responsibilities
- Review and accurately file legal documents using internal systems and email platforms
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance industry knowledge and process understanding
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues that arise during document processing
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Assist with additional projects and administrative tasks as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive legal information
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
