About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in healthcare data analysis, business analysis, and technology consulting. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product owners and business stakeholders to develop and implement data product requirements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights and reports. Your expertise in SQL and Python will be essential in extracting, transforming, and analyzing healthcare data from various source systems. You will serve as a subject matter expert in clinical and claims data, supporting data acquisition, quality evaluation, and process efficiencies. The role requires effective communication skills to present complex data insights to diverse audiences, including senior leadership. Additionally, you will foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, supporting team growth and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the United States, providing a balanced and engaging work experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on healthcare data analysis, business analysis, or technology consulting experience in healthcare data
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and Python
  • Project management experience or familiarity with Scrum methodologies
  • Proven ability to develop strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational goals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences
  • Experience working in Agile environments, writing lean user stories and requirements
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data, including clinical and claims datasets
  • Ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment
  • Demonstrated compliance with regulatory obligations and data privacy standards

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners and business users to gather and implement data product requirements, incorporating feedback continuously
  • Design, develop, and optimize queries to generate reports and extract data from source systems for end-users
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and determine technological solutions
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for team members, providing training and guidance on data analysis and business issues
  • Create detailed specifications, record layouts, and workflow diagrams for report generation and data extraction
  • Contribute to ongoing data quality assessments and improve analytic business processes for efficiency
  • Establish and maintain relationships with data senders and serve as a subject matter expert on clinical and claims data
  • Support business justification and execution for new data acquisition initiatives
  • Communicate complex data insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
  • Participate actively in Agile development cycles, writing user stories and ensuring timely delivery of data solutions
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive team culture that encourages growth, learning, and innovation
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable regulatory and data privacy standards
