Supplier Product Support Engineer – Senior
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science – Over 2 years of experience in supply chain, business operations, technical support, or engineering roles – Preferred: 5+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience – Preferred: 3+ years in a customer support engineering role for airline customers or suppliers – Preferred: 3+ years of experience in maintaining aircraft or aircraft components
Responsibilities:
- Review and assess supplier repair and maintenance documentation for technical accuracy and compliance with relevant standards – Utilize engineering judgment to evaluate the clarity and performance of maintenance documentation – Identify and log technical discrepancies and collaborate with suppliers for timely resolutions – Effectively coordinate and communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and airline stakeholders on requirements and action plans – Support initiatives for continuous improvement in supplier data review and approval processes – Keep thorough records of evaluations and decisions for compliance and traceability – Occasionally travel for training, technical discussions, or collaborative problem-solving sessions – Operate under general supervision
