Contract IT-AV Live Events Technician (Client-Facing)
MUST be local to New York City to work onsite
Client-facing AV technician supporting ~260 executive and external-facing events per year in a regulated financial services environment. Role supports earnings calls, investor events, board meetings, and compliance-sensitive communications where accuracy, confidentiality, and zero-failure execution are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate live audio, video playback, and executive graphics for high-profile financial events
- Execute precise cues for earnings decks, investor presentations, and regulatory content
- Ensure signal integrity, redundancy, and flawless delivery in live and hybrid settings
- Partner closely with Corporate Communications, IT, Legal, and Compliance teams
- Support secure recordings and post-event documentation as required
Required Experience
- 3–5 years supporting live or broadcast-style events
- Client-facing experience with senior executives
- Experience in financial services or other regulated environments strongly preferred
Technical Skills
- Professional audio mixing and monitoring
- Video playback and live graphics (e.g., PowerPoint, ATEM or similar)
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow and real-time troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
- CTS or related AV certifications
- Exposure to financial compliance, regulatory communications, or investor events
