Salary Range: £39,757.41 — £41,077.67 / £43,157.38 – £44,618.23 per annum, including night working enhancement.

The States of Guernsey are seeking a Female Ground Security Officer (Night Shift) to join the team at Guernsey Airport.
The role of Night Shift Ground Security Officer (GSO) is critical for the smooth and safe running of Guernsey Airport.
As a Security Officer you will be responsible for providing excellent standards of customer service and high-quality compliant security operations, ensuring that passengers, staff and premises remain safe and secure across the Ports.
A GSO will be required to uphold landside and airside security principles and policies that are fundamental to the safe and efficient running of a licensed aerodrome.
The post covers the period outside of the airport’s operational hours (i.e. when the airport is closed) seven days a week including Bank Holidays from 2045hrs to 0630hrs.
The basic working week is thirty six hours averaged out over a eight-week shift pattern.
Shifts will usually be of ten hours duration, four days on four days off.
It is a condition of the post that staff may be required on an overtime basis to work additional shifts covering colleague’s absences.
This a dynamic role and requires a flexible approach to cover reasonable changes to airport operating hours, absences within the team, and to support the senior leadership team and management in meeting the requirements of the airport’s key customers (airlines, passengers, business partners etc).
