Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry – Minimum 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree, 7 years with a Masters, or 3 years with a PhD – Proficiency in programming using C/C++ – Experience in Python programming – Familiarity with Kubernetes or similar containerization technologies – Knowledge of message patterns or transport technologies (e.g., ZMQ, Apache MQ) – Background in embedded systems development
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and validation of requirements for complex communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems – Design architectures for the integration of intricate systems and components into higher-level systems and platforms – Conduct advanced trade studies, modeling, and simulations to forecast component and system performance, optimizing designs according to established requirements – Define and carry out essential tests to verify the performance of designs against requirements – Manage critical supplier and partner performance to ensure adherence to requirements – Offer ongoing support to products throughout their lifecycle, assisting with issue resolution and project management tasks – Contribute to significant sections of proposals for new business development – Operate under minimal supervision
