Lead Hardware Systems Engineer – Fighters

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry – 14 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors degree OR 12 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree OR 9 years of relevant experience with a PhD – Proficiency in leading engineering design, development, and analysis for system integration – Experience in consulting on design, integration, testing, and operational capabilities for various military and international programs – Knowledge in validation and verification of requirements – Expertise in managing and conducting critical tests to validate design performance – Ability to monitor supplier performance for compliance with requirements – Strong technical leadership skills – Capability to support products throughout their lifecycle – Experience mentoring junior team members – Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

Responsibilities:

• Lead collaboration with clients to develop and document requirements for complex electronic and electrical systems – Oversee the analysis and conversion of intricate requirements into system architecture, hardware, software designs, and interface specifications – Manage testing and validation processes on sophisticated system designs to ensure compliance with operational requirements – Collaborate in the creation of program test strategies – Supervise critical suppliers to guarantee system integration and adherence to requirements – Execute independent program reviews and convey findings to program leadership – Offer essential support for deployed hardware and software throughout the products lifecycle – Direct research into technological advancements applicable to business needs – Make informed suggestions for technology investments – Act as an esteemed expert within the business unit regarding process development, qualification, and resolution of technical supplier challenges
