Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent qualification. – 9 years of relevant experience in a technical role, or a combination of education and experience with a Masters or PhD. – Proven capability in leading design, development, and analysis of systems for integration into larger platforms. – Experience in consulting on integration, testing, and operational capabilities for USAF, USN, and international programs. – Skills in requirement development, validation, and verification. – Experience overseeing and executing critical testing to ensure design performance meets specifications. – Competence in monitoring supplier performance to confirm integration and compliance with requirements. – Ability to provide technical leadership in supplier and partner performance management. – Capability to support products across their entire lifecycle. – Mentorship experience for junior team members. – Familiarity with DOORS and Model Based Systems Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct customer engagements to develop and document intricate electronic and electrical system requirements. – Analyze and convert requirements into system architectures, as well as hardware and software designs and interface specifications. – Lead efforts to test and validate that system designs fulfill operational and functional expectations. – Supervise the team monitoring supplier performance to ensure successful system integration and adherence to specified requirements. – Address issues and provide support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle. – Investigate technological advancements for potential application to business objectives. – Propose recommendations for technology investments.
