Requirements
Must have:
– Over 10 years of cumulative expertise in C++, Python, Ada, C, and Java – More than 10 years of experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems – At least 5 years of experience in real-time software architecture and design methodologies – A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading technical teams or projects
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualizations, virtual environments, and frameworks to improve test performance, safety, and system durability throughout the product lifecycle. – Transition a legacy software simulator for fighter jets to adhere to contemporary coding standards. – Collaborate with stakeholders to advise on simulation requirements and the dynamics of the systems being simulated. – Direct the design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to optimize overall system performance and capabilities. – Manage the validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software code, models, testing procedures, and environments, executing tests, and documenting results against real-world data and benchmarks. – Review and maintain documentation of technical code, algorithms, and specifications related to simulation models. – Work alongside cross-functional engineering teams to guide the integration of simulation software with hardware systems. – Lead the adoption of current and emerging technologies, tools, and methods in the software engineering simulation field. – Oversee the modernization, migration, and maintenance of simulation software to help legacy systems adapt to new operating systems. – Counsel management and influence internal practices on a diverse array of topics regarding software engineering simulation environments.
