Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent related qualifications. – Proficiency in Ethernet networking and various traffic types including UDP, TCP/IP, Broadcast, Multicast, and Unicast. – Background in validating timing, latency, and jitter. – Familiarity with ARINC 429 protocol and RS-232/RS-485 serial interfaces. – Experience in integrating a variety of input traffic types into system-level testing. – Competence in using network analysis tools such as Wireshark and electronic test equipment. – Skills in developing test scripts utilizing Python and C++. – Understanding of DO-160 and DO-330 standards. – Over 9 years of experience in systems integration and testing within avionics, aerospace, or a related field.

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct Integration and Test processes including Design Verification, Qualification/DO 160, and Acceptance testing to ensure the reliability of avionics products. – Create, review, and execute test plans, procedures, cases, and scripts that align with defined requirements and verification criteria. – Develop automated test scripts and harnesses using languages such as Python and C/C++, integrating them with continuous integration/testing setups. – Set up and analyze Ethernet/network captures using tools like Wireshark to assess performance metrics such as timing, latency, and packet-loss. – Validate serial bus communications and discrete signals effectively. – Produce and maintain test reports for engineering assessment and certification purposes. – Draft the necessary Test Requirements Documents. – Define requirements for test equipment and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure compliant test setups. – Assist in lab organization, instrumentation, and safety management to guarantee consistent testing conditions. – Troubleshoot integration problems, support root cause investigations, and propose effective solutions; oversee the retesting and resolution of issues. – Deliver technical updates to program management and stakeholders regarding testing progress, risks, and remedial actions.
