Design and Analysis Engineer (Electronics)
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent qualifications – For Level 3: 5+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelors degree or a combination of relevant experience and education – For Level 4: 9+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelors degree or a combination of relevant experience and education – Experience in electrical engineering – Background in avionics, electrical, or mission systems roles is preferred – Experience in developing or integrating avionics or mission systems – Familiarity with Agile Software Development and JIRA – Project management experience using standard tools
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to define and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements – Analyze and convert requirements into system, hardware, and software designs along with interface specifications – Conduct tests and validations to ensure system designs align with operational and functional requirements – Oversee supplier performance to ensure system integration and adherence to requirements – Address issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle – Investigate specific technological advancements for potential applications in our business needs
