Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent qualifications related to the work statement – 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence roles focused on developing data pipelines and dashboards – Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to create optimized queries for large datasets and transform data for reporting – Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation, including familiarity with common tools or orchestration frameworks – Direct experience in constructing dashboards and reports using one or more Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) – Proven track record of collaborating effectively with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and deliver actionable data solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and convert business needs into technical data solutions – Design, construct, and sustain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to convert raw data into clean, trustworthy datasets for reporting purposes – Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate metrics, trends, and updates using BI tools – Develop and refine data models and semantic layers that support self-service analytics and dashboard exploration – Monitor and enhance data quality, resolve pipeline issues, and uphold governance and documentation standards – Support the ongoing enhancement of data processes and automation to minimize manual tasks and expedite insights – Provide technical support to data analysts and assist cross-functional teams in interpreting and utilizing dashboard results
