Senior Affordability Systems Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications relevant to the role – Proven experience in leading and managing projects, including budget, schedule, and technical scope – Strong ability to collaborate and integrate data across multi-disciplinary teams – Familiarity with Affordability Engineering tools and processes such as lifecycle cost analysis and performance trade studies

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the BCA Product Development Affordability Kit Process, ensuring affordability is integrated into decision-making for future products – Plan and coordinate Affordability Kit activities within the BCA PD trade study process, adapting plans as needed throughout the programs progression – Facilitate regular communications across supporting functions to guarantee timely kit development – Present significant producibility and affordability opportunities along with recommendations to BCA PD Engineering leadership – Gather feedback from partners to enhance the Affordability Kit process and its content – Report directly to BTI Systems Engineering, while also coordinating with the BCA PD Affordability/Balanced Design team – Support BCA PD headquarters with periodic travel as required
