Principal Systems Engineer – DevOps Specialist
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution – Over 20 years of relevant work experience or a combination of applicable education and experience – Background in developing space hardware products – Proficiency in crafting requirements and verification/validation plans – Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Direct design decisions to achieve optimal value for the customer by balancing cost, schedule, and performance – Oversee development by monitoring program execution tasks and measuring successful outcomes – Provide guidance and approval on technical strategies, products, and processes – Communicate effectively regarding program progress, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs – Formulate and implement project and process plans, along with policies and operational goals – Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and team members – Manage proposal development, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the Government System Acquisition Process – Lead the definition and execution of implementation strategies while fostering consensus among a diverse team – Analyze findings, synthesize information, and develop informed conclusions and recommendations – Understand the roles of various engineering disciplines and how their deliverables impact each other and related non-engineering processes – Apply advanced modeling techniques to analyze systems
