Requirements

Must have:

– Proven expertise in designing, planning, and implementing secure and scalable network architectures, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud solutions – Proficient in managing network security elements, including firewall configurations and intrusion detection/prevention systems – Experienced in deploying network hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers – Capable of ensuring network resilience and executing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies – Skilled in developing and maintaining thorough network documentation, including diagrams and policies – Knowledgeable about multi-vendor switching and routing technologies (e.g., Juniper, Cisco, Dell) – Proficient in various routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) – Extensive familiarity with firewall technology (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) – Experience with VPN deployment and maintenance (e.g., IPsec, SSL VPN, Azure ExpressRoute) – Strong understanding of switching technologies (e.g., Layer 2/Layer 3, VLANs, STP) – Experience with network management and automation tools (e.g., Panorama, Mist, Apstra) – Holds a DoD 8140 Level 2 Certification (such as Security+ CE or equivalent) – Bachelors degree in a technical field such as engineering or computer science, or at least ten years of relevant work experience – Must possess an active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

  • Design and implement resilient and scalable network infrastructures tailored to our organizations needs – Oversee and improve our network security measures to safeguard data and systems – Direct the deployment of essential network hardware and software components – Ensure the networks stability by developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans – Create and keep updated comprehensive network documentation for internal use – Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance and sharing expertise
