Senior Electronic Systems Design Engineer
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution. – Over 10 years of experience in an electrical design engineering environment, focusing on electronic and electrical systems design and analysis. – Experience with hardware and software design for Electrical Systems. – Knowledge of FAA certification processes. – Familiarity with system design and integration in airplane development programs. – Experience with Model Based Development tools.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document requirements for electronic and electrical systems. – Create design specifications for hardware, software, and interfaces. – Conduct tests and validations to ensure designs meet operational and functional needs. – Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with standards. – Ensure adherence to regulations and certification requirements like ARP4754A, DO-178, and DO-254. – Address issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle. – Investigate technological advancements for potential applications in business and customer needs.
