Optical Systems Engineer – Millennium Space Systems

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors Degree in engineering or a physical science – Strong problem-solving, testing, and analytical skills – Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks simultaneously – Proficient communication and presentation abilities – U.S. Citizenship is required for obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Design and carry out unit and system-level optical tests to confirm performance – Create and execute simulations and models for system/payload performance – Conduct trade studies to estimate system performance – Assist in managing supplier and partner performance – Contribute to internal optical product development initiatives – Define and validate mission and unit-level requirements for electro-optical (EO) sensors and their interfaces – Perform additional tasks as assigned
