Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field – Proven experience in developing LabVIEW applications (beyond coursework or basic exposure) – Strong grasp of instrumentation, testing systems, and data acquisition methods – Excellent debugging, integration, and troubleshooting abilities in a hardware-in-the-loop setting – Familiar with Git, issue tracking systems, and structured software development methodologies

Responsibilities:


  • Design, test, and sustain LabVIEW applications for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems – Create scalable software solutions for real-time testing and validation of embedded systems – Produce robust, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to contemporary software engineering principles – Interface with National Instruments hardware including PXI, cRIO, DAQ, and related instruments – Integrate software applications with TestStand for sequencing and automation – Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (ATLO, Systems, Manufacturing) to establish software requirements and testing strategies – Diagnose and provide support for deployed testing systems in production and environmental testing laboratories – Contribute to DevOps pipelines including version control, test automation, and deployment practices (GitLab CI/CD) – Mentor junior engineers and aid in establishing team-wide best practices and coding standards – Lead the full lifecycle of software projects from design to deployment
