Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. – Entry Level (Level 1): Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. – Associate Level (Level 2): typically 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. – Experienced Level (Level 3): typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. – Background or experience in signal processing.

Responsibilities:


  • Design and create next-generation RF, digital, and optical satellite communication systems. – Develop and validate multi-rate, fixed-point digital signal processing frameworks. – Allocate, define, and validate requirements and interfaces in the development of digital communication payloads. – Create performance and link budgets. – Perform performance analyses of signal processing models. – Assist in the execution of trade studies. – Develop prototype demonstrations using flight-like communication subsystem testbeds. – Support unit-level integration and performance simulations. – Assist in ASIC and FPGA level system design and verification. – Aid in hardware procurement, design evaluations, and unit sell-offs.
