FocusKPI is seeking a Data Analyst (SEO)to work with our client.

++Work Location:++ San Jose, CA; Hybrid (3-4 days onsite) , candidate needs to be based in the Bay Area
++Duration:++ 6-12 months with potential for extension depending on your performance
++Pay range:++ $40/hour to $55/hour

++Responsibilities:++

  • Work closely with the SEO Analytics and Performance team
  • Leverage new techniques to investigate our data and incorporate external information to boost our knowledge of this market
  • Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics
  • Communicate complicated data findings clearly and concisely to our multi-disciplined teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product, marketing, finance, etc. on initiatives that improve our company-level KPIs and match our business priorities, and provide valuable data to the overall strategy
  • Provide analytics insights about customer behavior, web user behavior
  • Ad-hoc analysis to address urgent high-impact analysis for business stakeholders

++Qualifications:++

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a closely related field, and an MS degree is preferred
  • 4 years of industry experience with analytics experience to build data-driven products for solving business problems
  • Proficient in SQL and/or other data query languages. Experience in handling large-scale data with efficiency
  • Experience withPython is required
  • Proven SEO experienceas evidenced by results achieved in previous roles
  • Experience withproduct analytics, Google Analytics
  • Experience withA/B testing
  • Experience with ane-commercebackground is a huge plus
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with campaign analytics and promotions
  • Experience with e-commerce web-based products and companies
  • Excellent communication skills
