Financial Reporting Manager (Hybrid — Rolling Meadows, IL)We’re supporting a newly created Financial Reporting Manager position within a large, sophisticated organization headquartered in the Chicagoland area. This role offers strong visibility to senior finance leadership and ownership across financial close, external reporting, and technical accounting initiatives.What You’ll Be Doing

  • Review monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Prepare and review management financial statements and variance analysis
  • Oversee quarterly IFRS reporting submissions
  • Review quarterly and annual statutory filings, including separate accounts
  • Apply and interpret technical accounting guidance across reporting requirements
  • Lead and support large, complex reporting projects
  • Partner closely with senior finance leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance

What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree with 10+ years of accounting or finance experience (or equivalent)

  • 6+ years of leadership or managerial experience
  • Strong foundation in financial reporting and general ledger accounting
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Background in public accounting or professional services highly valued
  • Experience in regulated or complex reporting environments a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders

Work Model & Compensation

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (Schaumburg)
  • Base salary + 20% short-term incentive bonus (paid out ~99% last year)
