Software Engineer

Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Location : Sunnyvale, CA
Duration : 12 Months / long term contract

Role Overview
We are seeking a well-rounded and motivated Full Stack Developer to join a high-impact Delivery team. This role focuses on building scalable, customer-facing delivery solutions that enable real-time tracking, delivery scheduling, route optimization, and seamless third-party integrations.
The ideal candidate has strong front-end expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks (Next.js) and solid back-end experience in building and integrating distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-quality full-stack applications
• Drive execution of multiple business plans and engineering initiatives
• Lead discovery phases for medium to large projects and produce high-level designs
• Lead and mentor a small team of 3-4 engineers on assigned projects
• Deliver end-to-end service implementations, including data ingestion and orchestration
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives, best practices, and innovation strategies

Required Skills

Front End

• Next.js
• React
• TypeScript
• Micro-Frontend architecture
• Java Spring Boot (API integration testing from the frontend)
• Monorepo experience (application packaging and management)

Back End

• Kafka
• Spring JPA
• AOP
• SQL
• NoSQL databases (CosmosDB or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems
• Strong understanding of system design and integration patterns
• Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives
