Role Overview

Provides hands-on analytics and visualization support for police data reporting initiatives under direction of senior analytics staff.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with:

• SQL (queries, joins, aggregations)
• Tableau and/or Power BI
• Experience building dashboards and reports
• Experience working with large, structured datasets
• Ability to follow established data standards and documentation practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience with public-sector or justice-related data
• Experience with data validation and quality checks
• Familiarity with data privacy requirements

Scope of Work

• Build and enhance dashboards and reports
• Write and maintain SQL queries
• Support data validation and cleansing activities
• Assist with dashboard formatting and usability
• Maintain documentation and job aids
• Support updates to existing dashboards
• Collaborate with internal analytics staff for knowledge transfer
