Our client is hiring a Software Developer Senior on a long-term contract basis.

Work Location: Brooklyn, New York

Work Model: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Provide development and technical support (1st, 2nd or Tier 3 Level) to the ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications.
  • Take up development for minor enhancements using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP .net (C#).
  • Support Landbase applications including new development and troubleshooting requests.
  • Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
  • System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
  • Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
  • Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.
  • Support hours shift: Be flexible from 9 AM up to 9 PM EST and weekend on a rotational base.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-10+ years of experiences of administration, support, and development ArcGIS applications
  • 5-10+ years of experiences in administrating and supporting ArcFM applications
  • Development and coding experiences using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, .Net (C#).
  • Experiences in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites.
  • System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems.
  • Publish services and administer user roles and privileges.
  • Ability to Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc.
  • Ability to understand requirements and support team and share best practices/lessons learnt.
  • Provide status of the tickets to the client SME.
  • Trouble shooting and problem resolution to issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications.
  • Utility Experience (Plus): Leverage utility industry experience to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry-specific initiatives.
  • Windows servers knowledge and experiences
  • FME Experience: Work closely with FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Pay Rate: $75-$85 per hour.
