Job Title: Utility Operator
Location: Chattanooga TN 37406
Pay Rate: $19.79/hr. on W2
Shift: 7AM-3PM M-F
Duration: 3 Months contract

Summary
The Production Associate (Utility Operator) is responsible for maintaining and operating various utility systems and equipment and performing sanitation duties to maintain food safety requirements that are essential for production processes. This role ensures smooth, efficient functioning and food safety compliance to support overall plant operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Daily)
Perform cleaning and sanitation duties for food safety compliance
Use compressed air for cleaning and maintenance tasks
Complete pristine projects, including painting and scraping off old paint
Maintain and operate various utility systems and equipment
Complete assigned tasks during an 8-hour cleaning-focused workday

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Ascend and descend stairs multiple times per day
Climb ladders, step ladders, and extension ladders
Lift up to 50 pounds and exert up to 20 pounds of force
Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance, and reach at or below shoulder level
Perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely
Work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise
Use personal protective equipment (PPE), including a dust mask
Work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Must be clean shaven to ensure proper seal when using respiratory protection, including N-95 dust masks

Minimum Qualifications
Ideally 1 year of relevant experience
Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
Prior cleaning and/or food manufacturing experience
