Akkodis is seeking a for a Chemical Process Engineer job with a client in Rochester, NY. Must hold a Bachelor of Science degree In Chemical Engineering to be considered. Will commission process systems as part of a startup team at client locations throughout the U.S. Also responsible for providing ongoing client support at factory sites or via remote connection.Salary Range: $100/year to $130/year; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Chemical Process Engineer job responsibilities include:· Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).· Develop Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).· Perform calculations (heat loss, pressure drop, etc.).· Develop mass and energy balances.· Perform process system timing analysis.· Prepare utility consumption estimates.· Size and specify process equipment.· Prepare equipment Request for Quotations (RFQs).· Develop detailed process equipment schematics and assembly drawings.· Prepare process system installation scope of work documents.· Participate in process control system software development.Desired Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering is requiredMinimum Five years’ related experienceMust have experience within the food, beverage, dairy or pharmaceutical industries.AutoCAD drawing experience is required.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
