Schedule: 21 Days On / 21 Days Off | 12 Hr. Days

Position Overview
We are seeking a QA/QC Inspector IV [C] for assignment in Alpine, Alaska. This role is mechanical discipline-focused and requires an active AWS CWI QC-1 certification. The inspector will provide advanced quality assurance and control oversight across project and vendor activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and report non-conformances in accordance with QA/QC standards
• Perform inspections both on-site and off-site to ensure quality compliance
• Conduct in-progress and final inspections of maintenance work, ensuring standards are met
• Review vendor quality documentation and witness quality tests on behalf of the project
• Develop and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Perform raw material and parts inspections to validate quality compliance
• Ensure proper tools, repairs, and adjustments are used during maintenance and construction activities
• Prepare necessary QA/QC forms, records, and documentation
• Provide specialized technical guidance to teams, influencing outcomes and ensuring quality performance
• Support vendor and contractor quality process assessments and improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• AWS CWI QC-1 certification required
• Minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience, with senior-level expertise in mechanical inspection
• Advanced understanding of mechanical discipline practices, codes, and standards
• Ability to provide technical guidance and influence cross-functional teams
• Experience in vendor documentation review, ITP development, and quality test witnessing
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and reporting skills
• Ability to travel domestically and potentially internationally for inspection support
