AI Engineer

A recognized media services organization in New York City is currently seeking an AI Engineer. This is a hybrid role. 4 days /week onsite.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D on AI/ML technologies and architectures

• Deploy AI/LLM and Agentic Applications for proof-of-concept demonstrations and assist in scaling or deploying successful solutions into production systems.

• Push boundaries of what is possible with AI (Traditional AI, Gen AI, Agentic AI)

• Stay current on AI technology trends and evangelize

• Evaluate and pilot third-party AI solutions for fit, scalability, and business value

• Prototype solutions that inform future productization

• Collaborate on data preparation and synthetic data generation strategies to support experimentation

• Validate AI (model) performance, safety and operational readiness before hand-off to production teams

• Contribute to AI system architecture

• Deploy and manage AI workflows in cloud environments

• Collaborate with AI Business Partners

Skills

• Programming & Frameworks – Python, APIs, ML frameworks, AI tools (Coding Assistant – any of GitHub Copilot/Codex/Claude Code etc, LangChain, ADK, ChatGPT, MSCopilot)

• AI/ML systems – LLMs (OpenAI GPTs, Google AI, Claude), embeddings, vector databases

• Building and managing APIs and integrations

• Prompt Engineering

• Model Evaluation & Design

• AI Architecture Design

• Data preparation & generation

• Cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
