Business Analyst / Scrum Master (Financial Services)

Location: Remote(Need from EST Zone)

Experience: 7 10 years

About the Role
Seeking a hybrid Business Analyst / Scrum Master with strong financial services experience to support strategic technology and process initiatives. The role combines requirements analysis, Agile delivery leadership, and cross-team coordination within a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis:

  • Gather/document requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories).
  • Create process flows, use cases, AS-IS/TO-BE models.
  • Conduct gap analysis and support solution design.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Banking, **ments, Lending, Risk, etc.
  • Support UAT, defect triage, and documentation (SOPs, RTM).

Scrum Master:

  • Lead Agile ceremonies: Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retros.
  • Ensure backlog readiness with Product Owner.
  • Track/surface Agile metrics (Velocity, Burndown, Cycle Time).
  • Remove impediments and enable smooth team delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with US regulatory and audit controls (AML/KYC, PCI, SOX).

Required Skills

  • 7 10 years BA Scrum Master experience in Financial Services/Banking.
  • Strong Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
  • Expertise in requirements elicitation, BPMN, user stories.
  • Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, ADO.
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement.

Preferred

  • Certifications: CSM/PSM , CSPO/PSPO , CBAP/CCBA , SAFe.
  • Experience in digital banking, cloud, APIs, or data migration.
  • Knowledge of US regulations (AML, KYC, PCI-DSS, SOX, FFIEC).
