Senior BA/QA Analyst

Responsibilities:

Business Analyst (BA)

Gather requirements with agency subject matter experts.
Perform analysis and related tasks for ad-hoc data report requests.
Research and resolve issues or work items reported by other agencies regarding provided data.
Research and respond to business units based on testing activities.
Participate in meetings with business customers for issue clarification.
Manage and update work items in Azure DevOps.
Address legislative changes and updates.
Process federal regulation changes through quarterly batch adjustments.
Regularly update and delete holidays.
Research and correct payment reconciliation reports.
Create new specifications or update existing specifications when code changes are made.
Process help desk tickets for batch abends and redirect functionality-related questions.
Analyze and test software upgrades.
Provide level-of-effort estimates for Fiscal Notes.
Investigate and research questions and problems from business units.
Handle errors occurring during nightly runs.
Coordinate printing of forms for testing new or changed forms.
Analyze issues related to missing or incorrect forms and determine root causes.
Maintain daily batch support.
Coordinate scheduling of batch jobs.
Maintain batch job flow charts using VISIO.

Quality Assurance (QA)

Perform unit testing and system testing.
Support quality assurance testing (QAT).
Support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Document test plans.
Document test results.
Conduct unit and system testing prior to sending fixes or enhancements for UAT.

BA & QA Documentation

Document requirements.
Document system specifications.
Document test plans.
Document test results.
Document problem descriptions, causes, resolutions, and corrective actions in Azure DevOps.
Prepare monthly status reports including resolved and closed work items.
