Data Engineer – Machine Learning Data Enablement
Location: Onsite 4 days/week (Monday-Thursday) in Cincinnati, OH
Type: Full-Time
About the Role
I’m looking for a Data Engineer to join a newly formed Machine Learning Data Enablement team. This group is focused on building high-quality, scalable data pipelines that support machine learning models across the organization. The work centers on delivering reliable, well-structured data that powers ML development and deployment in modern cloud environments.

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines that support machine learning workflows
- Deliver curated, production-ready datasets for data scientists and ML engineers
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to understand data needs and modeling requirements
- Support the development and deployment of ML models by ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability
- Work with modern data tooling and cloud platforms to enhance data delivery processes
- Contribute to shaping how machine learning data is managed and delivered across the organization
- Participate in the early stages of a growing team, helping define best practices and long-term architecture
Required Skills
- Strong SQL skills
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience preparing, cleaning, and transforming data
- Interest in machine learning workflows and data-driven product development
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new tools and technologies
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with dbt
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms
- Exposure to ML platforms such as SageMaker or Databricks (not required, but helpful)
