**Job Title: Senior Data & Analytics Consultant**
Location: Charlotte, NC (Brigham Building, 11625 N Community House Rd)
Contract Duration: 12 months (potential extension up to 24 months)
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day; Hybrid (3 days in office)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data & Analytics Consultant to join our Chief Administrative Office (CAO) team. In this role, you will enable enterprise-wide data initiatives by gathering requirements, performing analysis, and designing scalable data solutions. You’ll work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and collaborate with business partners to deliver impactful, reusable data solutions that drive strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and refine data use case requirements.
- Design and architect scalable data models and relationships with a focus on usability, performance, and accuracy.
- Define requirements for data source integrity monitoring and support database enhancement requests.
- Document data lineage, sharing agreements, and metadata management processes.
- Assess upstream system changes for data impact and provide recommendations.
- Translate business needs into actionable data requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with technology and governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise data standards.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 4 years in data analytics or equivalent (work experience, consulting, training, military, or education).

Technical Skills:

MSSQL: Ability to write, read, and optimize queries for data extraction and analysis.

Data Analysis: Proficiency in data cleansing, validation, and transformation using Alteryx and SSMS.

Documentation: Ability to define clear sourcing and transformation logic, including database/table/column specifications.

Metadata management and data governance experience.

Strong data profiling and root cause analysis skills for data quality issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Google Cloud Data tools (Dataplex, BigQuery, etc.).
- Familiarity with SSIS packages and jobs.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools (Jira).
Soft Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex data environments.
