Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a dynamic aerospace environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and leadership in quality assurance practices.

Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000 annually Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations, engineering, and compliance teams to align quality processes.
  • Facilitate issue resolution using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D) and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality and production issues using data-driven approaches.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain compliance and performance standards.
  • Ensure timely resolution of non-conformances to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (Six Sigma, ASQ CQE/CQA) preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in aerospace quality management.
  • Background in production or MRO environments required.
  • Familiarity with life-saving equipment (e.g., emergency slides, rafts) is a plus.
  • Expertise in quality management systems and tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC).
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, FAA, EASA, UK CAA Part 145).
  • Experience in auditing and root cause analysis.
