Description:

Title: Sr. Network Engineer – Aruba Wireless Migration to Aruba Central

Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, CA

Employment Type: Contract to hire

Compensation: $60-70/hr W2 ONLY

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Network Engineer to lead the end-to-end migration of an enterprise Aruba wireless environment to Aruba Central. This role will ensure a seamless transition, enhanced performance, and improved cloud-based management across a large, complex network environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead migration from Aruba Mobility Controllers to Aruba Central
  • Assess existing Aruba wireless infrastructure, configurations, and dependencies
  • Configure and onboard Aruba APs, switches, and gateways
  • Rebuild or migrate SSIDs, authentication policies, roles, and access control
  • Integrate Aruba ClearPass for NAC, authentication, and policy enforcement
  • Conduct wireless surveys, RF assessments, and performance tuning
  • Validate segmentation, VLANs, DHCP scope alignment, and security posture
  • Support cutover activities with minimal downtime
  • Troubleshoot complex wireless performance and connectivity issues
  • Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and configuration standards

Required Experience:

  • Strong enterprise wireless networking experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Aruba Central, ArubaOS, Aruba APs, and Aruba switches
  • Deep knowledge of ClearPass, RADIUS, NAC, and wireless security
  • Experience with large-scale wireless migrations
  • Aruba certifications preferred
