Position : User Experience (UX) Designer Process & Service Design Focus

Duration : Contract(12 months)

Location : Minnesota (Remote work)

Role Overview

The UX Designer will focus on understanding user workflows and designing clear, usable processes that balance user needs with regulatory and compliance requirements.

This role is focused on process and service design, not visual UI design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop user journeys, workflows, and service maps
  • Identify usability, accessibility, and role-based access needs
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Writers to ensure stories reflect real user behaviour
  • Support multi-agency and multi-stakeholder workflows
  • Ensure designs align with accessibility and usability best practices

Required Experience

  • UX or service design experience in government or regulated environments
  • Experience designing complex workflows and processes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or enterprise platforms preferred
  • Accessibility and inclusive design experience is a plus

Sample Work Requirement

  • Must be able to demonstrate prior experience by providing anonymized examples of process flows, story maps, or UX/service design artifacts from previous engagements
