Requirements


Must have:

– U.S. citizenship is mandatory for eligibility in obtaining security clearance. – Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is necessary. – Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics required. – Minimum of 5 years experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management. – Knowledge of security vulnerabilities for various operating systems as outlined by NSA, NIST, DISA, and USCYBERCOM preferred. – Familiarity with offensive security, reverse engineering, or exploit development for 2-4 years. – Understanding of network and system security administration, including security configurations for MS Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. – DoDI 8570.01-M IAT Level-III Compliant Certification (CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, etc.) needed. – Proficiency in tools like Ghidra/IDA, x64dbg/WinDbg, Burp Pro, Nmap, and programming in Python/C/C#/PowerShell/Bash. – Capability to travel periodically.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and define security architecture requirements and guidance for security technologies. – Reverse-engineer Windows/Linux executables using relevant tools. – Conduct code reviews across multiple programming languages, such as C/C and Python, to identify flaws. – Transform vulnerability data into structured pentest plans, outlining objectives and criteria for success. – Prepare actionable reports detailing risks, reproduction methods, and prioritized remediation strategies. – Analyze security data and test outcomes effectively. – Identify and implement sustainable security designs, maintaining relevant documentation. – Establish and progress cybersecurity requirements, designs, and policy frameworks. – Oversee and guide vulnerability assessments, including executing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) events. – Work in collaboration with other programs and engineering teams to explore cybersecurity alternatives. – Perform cybersecurity audits to assess compliance and security posture, developing System Security Plans (SSP) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M). – Implement security controls across networking devices, databases, operating systems, and application components. – Conduct technical reviews and analysis to refine security practices.
