Senior Systems Engineer – Cloud & DevOps
Requirements
Must have:
– Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. – U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearance. – Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. – Experience in Systems Engineering. – Familiarity with Missile Systems is preferred. – Proven expertise in delivering technical presentations. – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. – Strong analytical and communication abilities. – Customer-oriented mindset with collaboration skills. – Experience utilizing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Cameo, or Rhapsody. – Knowledge of program coordination management tools like Jira, Confluence, cPDM, etc. – Understanding of the Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle. – Knowledgeable in system safety, reliability, Quality and Manufacturing Assurance (Q&MA), and configuration management. – Ability to evaluate and mitigate technical risks. – Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities. – Strong presentation skills. – Existing Top-Secret Clearance is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, maintain, and enhance systems architecture design and related drawings. – Create and oversee requirements and documentation. – Facilitate knowledge sharing within the assigned Integrated Product Team (IPT) and across all teams. – Ensure the technical integrity of all systems engineering documentation. – Collaborate with technical leaders to execute program tasks. – Prepare materials for client meetings including Formal Technical Reviews, Technical Interface Meetings, and status updates. – Mentor engineers and support cross-team collaboration. – Coordinate with program IPTs as the Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE).
