Senior Principal Software Engineer – Foundations

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics – Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience – Experience in developing and testing software for government clients – Proficiency with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines – Knowledge of program execution metrics – Experience in software engineering cost estimation – Familiarity with Agile methodologies – U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility – Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering and business units to deliver practical processes and templates for software development – Foster Agile and DevSecOps discipline within the team – Act as a liaison to support modernization with other disciplines – Drive the adoption of best practices in software, Agile, DevSecOps, and GenAI innovation across the organization – Contribute to improvement projects and initiatives with engineering leaders – Communicate strategies and constraints related to process documentation and cost estimation – Develop and maintain documentation for process command media and metrics – Support the Software Modernization Center and Engagement Leads in ensuring efficiency
