HWIL Software Engineer
Requirements
Must have:
– Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance necessary before the start date. – U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens qualify for a security clearance. – Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant software development experience, or a Masters degree in a similar field. – Proficient in software development using C++ with a focus on object-oriented principles. – Capability to obtain a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) security clearance. – Familiarity with security clearance requirements involving thorough background checks.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop software for controlling Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) facilities, such as missile flight simulators. – Engage in software design, programming, and integration in a real-time context. – Travel up to 20% to assist in the development and/or deployment of our testing environment equipment. – Work closely within a team to address and troubleshoot software integration issues.
