Senior Principal Java/C++ Architect

Requirements

Must have:

– U.S. citizenship required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance – Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance needed prior to start date – Typically a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience – Proven experience as a Software Architect – Proficiency in developing software using Java or C++ – Familiarity with cloud environments and Kubernetes – Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka

Responsibilities:

• Lead the program’s baseline modernization initiatives – Provide technical guidance and design oversight to agile software development teams and engineering staff – Mentor and coach both senior and junior engineers – Estimate software costs and schedules to support future development proposals using metrics like parametric analysis of Sourced Lines of Code (SLOC)
