This role is responsible for overseeing procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution to ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with operational excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting overall business growth.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Manage and optimize supply chain processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and sales teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and operational execution.

Oversee sourcing strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods.

Monitor logistics performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and food safety standards.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cost reduction, material planning, and supply chain integration.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to supply chain teams.

Collaborate with finance, quality assurance, and operations teams to optimize supply chain performance.

Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in supply chain/logistics management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Food manufacturing experience must have — specifically meat manufacturing background.

Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and procurement best practices.

Familiarity with ERP systems, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
